if I don't get my ass fired today, it's gonna be a miracle... have a steamroller for what's coming

Accounting fucked me and missed 2 months of payments to a vendor, totaling many tens of thousands of dollars, and my account is frozen. Not my fault, but I am the boss, and it is on me. So either someone is trying to fuck with me, or I am going to be so spectacularly pissed off my fury is going to be my demise. FML

Ouch good luck! I think accountants get lots of chances to mess up. At least from what I've seen. I think CEO's overlook mistakes if they can trust the person to be an honest person. At my last company our accountant made lots of mistakes including messing up payroll (delaying paychecks for an entire week for everyone). This was AFTER realizing he entered tax withholdings wrong for 6 months, and had to deduct the difference making everyones check smaller for the next 3 months. But he wasn't stealing money from the company so the CEO wanted to keep him instead of taking a chance with someone new.

2 months? I can see maybe a week at most, but 2 months? That's ridiculous.

It sounds to me like some skulls need to be cracked in accounting.
